Portable Document Format
(PDF) files
Some of our documents have been formatted using
Adobe's Acrobat. To read them you will need to download
the file and open it with Adobe's
Acrobat Reader. Depending on your computer
setup this will sometimes happen automatically for
you. If you do not already have this program installed
on your computer you will need to download and install
it.
If you are reading this in an internet café
and not at home, you will need to ask a member of
staff to install the Reader for you.
If you can't use Acrobat Reader to read these documents
(for example, if you use screen reader software
or an audio-enabled web browser), Adobe provides
a free online tool which converts PDF files into
text. For more help with this, please visit the
Adobe website.
Change the size of the window
If you want your browser window to fill the entire
screen, click on the maximize button in the top
right-hand corner of the window.
Sometimes you might want to use the entire screen
for your web page and have all the menus at the
top of the page disappear. To do this go to the
browser View menu and select 'Full screen'. Alternatively,
you can press the F11 key on your keyboard.
